SPEAKER: Kim Turner, Crouch and Associates
Her first development job – at Roanoke College in her hometown – proved to be a pivotal moment for Kim’s career trajectory. Witnessing firsthand the power and purpose of fundraising in serving the greater good, she was deeply moved by the generosity and commitment of donors who believed in something greater than themselves. For Kim, this was philanthropy at its finest, and it sparked her passion for charitable work and a life of service. That fire’s been burning ever since.
With nearly three decades of experience in nonprofit development and administration, Kim provided senior level leadership for four capital campaigns and led development departments ranging in size from one to 35 staff members in higher education, K-12 private education, healthcare, human services and arts/culture. Her first-hand, been-there done-that experiences give her the perspective and confidence that clients have come to value and trust.
When she is not working, Kim enjoys quality time with her husband, family, and friends. She serves on various community boards, volunteers at her church, and loves to travel. Most recently she enjoyed a life changing pilgrimage to Israel and Jordan, which she hopes was the first of many spiritual adventures to the Holy Land!
